Editor's Note:

Lately we have been doing our best to offer our audience a painting that may be related to or similar to a painting where we do not have a picture. Sometimes it is just a matter of what name Woodward gave the canvas. The name often indicates the subject. This painting has us stumped.

The definition of "Interval" is, "a period between two events or times, or the space between two points..." The space "between" is such a common theme for the artist. His favorite times to paint are often AFTER the peak or height of a season, the months of-- late February, early March... late April, early May... late August, early September, and his favorite is late November, early December. So much so that we created three themes galleries dedicated to these times.

✽ We feel like this is most likely a late fall, not yet winter, snow scene    ⮝
