In November

Though not quite the same, this sketch drawing very closely resembles the painting In November. From the sketch perspective, the key features all line up. Missing is the shadow cast on the house by the trees. This is the Halifax house in West Halifax, Vermont, Woodward showed a particular interest in painting primarily in the 1930s.
