This painting holds the distinction of the first known artwork, outside of the National Acedemy of Design and Boston Art Club, to hang in a museum. Its whereabouts are unknown.
There is no record of it ever appearing anywhere else after the Albright. We wonder if it was purchased by or from the museum.
