The Annual Exhibition of the Copley Society of Boston


From the exhibition by Painters and Sculptors of Greater Boston:

"(The) Corner Window by Robert Strong Woodward is a virile painting---luminous, harmonious in color and well balanced."


From just the name alone we are assuming this is a Window Picture painting and since Woodward was still in the Hiram Woodward Place in 1930 - '31 the painting must be similar to that of My Winter Shelf [to the right], the corner window of his studio. What we do not know is the season or arrangement of the shelf.
