Christmas Eve at the Christian Hill Church

It has been a tradition for many years for the Baptist Church in the country town of Colrain, Massachusetts, to have a Christmas Eve service at the small unheated and unelectrified church on the top of Christian Hill. Except for Christmas Eves the church has been abandoned and unattended for many years. But, on Christmas Eves the faithful of Colrain and many of the surrounding towns, troop up the steep road to the top of Christian Hill to hold services.
In 2009 the program for the service was dedicated to the art of Robert Strong Woodward.
The attendees were also given a Christmas Carol Songbook that also displayed three images of Woodward paintings and a biography of Robert Strong Woodward.
